It should be a number one priority for you to take great care of yourself. Give yourself time to walk in nature, do breathing exercises, listen to calming music, etc. If you don't take care of yourself first your stress can make you sick and this stress is passed on to your family. I cannot tell you enough how important this piece of advice is. I know that the kind of stress you are going through can eat you up and spit you out. You can suffer from extreme anxiety to extreme depression. The kind of nightmare feelings and emotions you feel with the threat of foreclosure are not fun and games. It can destroy families, cause job loss, divorces, drinking as well as scar our children for a long time.

Don't lose perspective that NOTHING not even a house is as important as the well being and happiness of your and your family don't let anything make you a victim because the only way that you can be a victim is if you let this situation get to you. Stand up and fight, fight as a family give it your best and your all with a positive attitude, with a positive attitude and determination along with your faith in the Lord you can do anything even move mountains - and if in the end you still have your health and your family and YOU decide after going for this all the way that YOU chose to take other options then there are millions of other houses out there so don't lose your sanity and family over a house. I am not saying not to fight for your home or that it is not important to you because I know it is but give it it's own place in the scheme of things.

It is ok to admit that something significant has taken place in your life and then your can confront your fears and begin to take action with a new perspective and courage.

Put your focus on the good times, don't dwell on the negatives it takes time for the process so during this process you have to see that God has something bigger and better planned and remind yourself that no matter what happens you will be victorious.

Be open to change this is the time to invest in your self development, do the things you dream about, reinvent yourself, learn new things, focus on the positive things in life, read good books, listen to motivational stories. Find things that make you feel alive and bring that life to everything you do.

Take things only one day at a time and remember you are never alone. Tomorrow will be a new day filled with new opportunities for success so do not worry about tomorrow. Live in the moment, be present in your life. Show up for your life everyday.

Count your blessings every day, as many times a day as possible. Keep a positive outlook. Be patient yet determined and relentless in the process but with an attitude of gratitude and positive energy for all you come into contact with.

Be persistent with what you want to happen. Be unstoppable, don't give up. Take Notes. Take Names, ask for supervisors, get your sale postponed and if you are at that point keep calling until you get someone who will listen and do something about it.

Learn as much as you can about the process. If you want to do this on your own you have to do it as a professional would. Gain the knowledge. Read articles. Learn the lingo. Get familiar with your lender. Ask them about their programs, if you get a mean person on the other end, call again until you find a helpful one and send those positive thoughts to every single one of them, they are stressed too.

By following the above survival strategies for loan modification in life you will find yourself more successful at everything you do.
